About the book

Stack! Clunk! Up, up, up! Long ago, everyone spoke one language. Brick by brick, the people built a tower to touch the sky… until their words got all mixed up! Bibba-bobba-boo? Zibba-zabba-zoo? Flippity-flop? Then families spread out over hills, rivers, snowy mountains and sandy shores, each with its own new words.

A gentle, giggly retelling of the Tower of Babel, faithful to the Bible, for little listeners ages 2 to 5.

  • 32 pages of bright, soft, cheerful pictures
  • One short, simple sentence on every page
  • Fun sounds to read aloud together
  • A note for grown-ups with questions to talk about
